Latest post not showing up on the main page?

  Just installed a new theme (The Morning After). Got it customized to my taste and looking pretty good, but discovered a problem (glitch?) when I uploaded my first post under the new theme (had been using Mystique previously). It publishes fine, but doesn’t show up under the ‘latest post’ column on the main page.

  When I go to my dashboard to look, the one that’s still on the main page says it’s been published before the more recent one, so I have no idea why it hasn’t been taken off the ‘latest post’ column yet. I don’t think I’ve touched anything, so I’m at a loss. Help?

  BTW, the problem also happens with the ‘recent posts’ column in the secondary sidebar. Just took a look at the dashboard and the times are still correct, so I have no idea why it’s acting that way.
