Latest Posts list not updating

  Has anyone else noticed that their latest posts are not going on their sidebar under “Latest Posts”? My last three, which were posted after the fact using a timestamp delay, are visible on the blog but not in the sidebar. Anyone else run into this issue?

  I don’t have this issue, but maybe the system is not using your timezone in your options to view the posts correctly in the ‘Latest Posts’. I can actually see those posts in your sidebar right now. Is is fixed for you?

  Nope, still broken. The latest in the sidebar says “Blame Germany” which is actually the fourth one down. Top post should be Cuttlefish.

  OK, little confused here. Your latest discussion at the top doesn’t have the posts in it. There is a unordered list just above your blogroll with the 5 latest posts in perfect order….hmm……

  The list called “The latest from the diseased brain of raincoaster” is the Latest Posts list. The list above the blogroll called “eat raincoaster feed” is the RSS feed.

  Ok, stupid question here. Would it have something to do with what you have for a timezone for your blog not being correct? If that is not the case, then send in the good ‘ol feedback on that one because I am seeing what you are seeing! (contrary to what I said previously)

  I’ve sent in a feedback. Haven’t changed the time setting on the blog since I started it, but I’ll check now for whether or not it somehow automatically got shifted (nope, it didn’t: still GMT). Maybe it has something to do with the new mapping widget. But still, why would the POSTS themselves show but not the listing of the posts?

  Also, perhaps my titles need to be less amusing and obscure?

  Short of testing out your own question by taking widgets off back to when it was working, we will have to wait and see what the staff have to say!

  WordPress has fixed it and asked me to let them know if it happens again. Marking the thread resolved.
