  I am trying to create a page which displays the last couple of posts in my blog. Help me please. I deleted my original front page and replaced it with a static page so i am starting over.

  You will have to either keep the normal blog (which you deleted) and set it to display only two posts at a time, or you are going to have to keep the normal blog (which you deleted) but set a static front page and manually paste the two latest posts onto it.

  To restore the blog, you just need to go to the Write page and write a post, rather than a page.
