Latest version # and Maximizing App

    I went to open the WordPress app after not using it for a few years and found 2 issues.

    1 – The window does not start maximized that I prefer. There is no setting in File > Preferences for this or anywhere I can find. How do I force the app to start Maximized?

    2 – I wound up having tp update twice to version 7.2. Is this the current one? I tried searching but cannot find anywhere listing the current version #.

    There’s no preference in the app to force this. But it looks like you can force it from within Windows itself: I found this article explaining how you can do this in Windows 10:

    v. 7.2.0 is the most recent version, yes.

    You can always find the most recent version of the app at https://apps.wordpress.com/desktop/, but now that you’re on the latest version it should auto-update again (sometimes if you fall too far behind, auto-update won’t work any more, requiring a fresh install).

    Thanks.
    Seems Windows may have changed something, apps pinned to Taskbar no longer show Properties to modify. I will have to look more into this possibly through Microsoft Communities.

    OK, I found it.

    1 – In Start menu, find the app and Right Click.
    2 – Choose More > Open File Location.
    3 – Right Click the app that should be highlighted.
    4 – Under Shortcut tab where it says Run, change dropbox selection toe Maximized.

    No need to pin to Taskbar at all.
