Latex and Image Borders

  I’ve purchased the CSS upgrade and I have been tweaking my blog (K2 Lite) to my liking. I’m happy with it so far except for one major problem. Any time I put equations into my posts using latex K2, Lite puts an ugly gray square around it. I want my equations to be incorporated seamlessly into my posts as they are with many other themes. I have been trying to find a way to get rid of these borders in the CSS but can’t find it. Is it even possible or is it something I can’t alter in the CSS?

  Looking at the source code, looks to me that they are being converted into images
  <img src="http://l.wordpress.com/latex.php?latex=qqq&amp;bg=ffffff&amp;fg=444444&amp;s=0" alt="qqq" title="qqq" class="latex">

  class=”latex” needs to be modified.

  I’m not seeing any references for latex in the CSS style sheet. Correct me if I am wrong, but the source code is something that I couldn’t alter from within CSS, correct?

  Wow, I really had to dig for it. According to the FF Page Info, there are 5 different style sheets in use on your theme. The reference to latex is

  img.latex { vertical-align: middle; border: none; }

  In other words, I don’t have a clue why it should be displaying a border on your blog other than maybe there’s some CSS inheritance thing going on, and that’s way out of my field. :(
