Latex creates very bad quality images

  I run a math/AI blog.

  When I use the default way to render math using latex ($latex <equation$), it renders into very bad quality images.

  I can't access php files to add mathjax or something manually, and can't add plugins in my paid personal subscription.

  What should I do to improve the quality of latex generated images?
