  Hi,
  Thanks for the baked in LaTeX support on wordpress.com blogs.

  Nonetheless, it is useful to know just what version of the LaTeX packages you are using.
  I look-up amsmath to discover just what formatting is provided and discover it is superceeded:
  http://www.ams.org/tex/amsmath.html

  What version do you provide access to?

  Also I read in this support forum some hint that only ‘in-line’ LaTeX is supported, e.g. if you can’t write it as a $…$ LaTeX macro you can’t place it on WordPress.com.

  Correct?

  Could you please clarify these details and update the LaTeX FAQ.
