LaTeX errors with mathematics

  Hi,
  I have been using the command $latex …$ to add mathematical equations in my first post but have noticed that it sometimes detects some mistake not displaying certain things of the form $latex …$ as it should be but in the exact way, so when reading the post I can see some of the equations having the form $latex …$ and not like they are supposed to appear.

  Remark: one could think I am typing something wrong on the code or something but it is not the case, because sometimes exact orders of the form $latex …$ yield to the result I expect and other have precisely the problem I have mentioned above.

  Would be very helpful if somebody could take a minute and give some quick respond with an alternative or a solution.

  By the way, as you can expect I am completely new in WordPress and it is not clear for me in which other places I could ask for support.

  Hi there,

  Do you mean you see the actual LaTeX code rather than the equation? I looked through the one published post on your site, and I don’t see that happening anywhere in that post.

  Can you please provide more information on exactly where you’re seeing this?

  If you instead mean the equations themselves don’t appear the way they are supposed to, we can’t help with that. In that case please post on a LaTeX-specific forum for help with your code.

  In other words, in this forum we can help if the code is not embedding/rendering properly on your site, but we’re unable to help you with the code itself.

  It was already checked yesterday. Thank you anyway for helping.

  It turned out, and I add this information in case it is useful for someone with a similar problem in the future, that there was formatting and extra information attached to the equations, this fact yields to problems when copy pasting the codes.

  If you write everything by yourself you will not, apparently, encounter this flaw. But if you copy-paste the equations then it is important to enable the WP option “copy as plain text”.

  Ah, that makes sense. Copying into the text/HTML editor instead of the visual editor would work too.
