Latex for Paid Plan

  it seems WordPress free version allows Latex setting.

  Do paid plan also have same Latex setting, that allows math notations??

  If so, which paid plan provides Latex setting?

  LaTeX is available in all WordPress.com plans. There are no additional features on the paid plans. You can read more here:

  We don’t use a plugin for that, it’s a built-in functionality :)

  And is it available only to WordPress.com plans?? including free version??

  I installed WordPress.org based WordPress blog, but Latex did not work, which worked with WordPress.com free version..

  So is this available only WordPress.com provided plans??

  I think there’s some confusion here. There’s three different “WordPress” at play here:

  1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
  2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software.

  You’re reaching out to WordPress.com support. Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

  Latex is built into WordPress.com hosted sites. If you’re using the WordPress software on your own hosting, you need to find and add a plugin to add that functionality to your website. The Jetpack plugin has this functionality for self-hosted sites and is made by us here at WordPress.com.

  Or, you can view the available plugins on the WordPress.org plugin directory – you would need to investigate whether or not the plugins listed there would be compatible with your website and choose the one that best suits your needs.

  Yep! Latex in Jetpack should work the same way as it does here.
