LaTeX issue 1
-
I have an issue with a LaTex structure. Here’s a snippet:
$latex displaystyle I=begin{bmatrix}1&0&1end{bmatrix}$When i paste this into your site and update page, it changes to this:
$latex displaystyle I=begin{bmatrix}1&0 &1end{bmatrix}$If I write it differently, everything is ok:
$latex displaystyle I=begin{bmatrix}1&0\{0}&1end{bmatrix}$Perhaps there is something about the character sequence 0 that confuses your processing?
I see from other posts that others have had problems with LaTeX matrix processing and &. Perhaps the same issue? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

oops: first snippet in post should have been:
$latex displaystyle I=begin{bmatrix}1&0&1end{bmatrix}$ -
aargh. your text input process kills the input sequence even when posting to the forum. I am sooo confused.

If you look below the Post box in the forum you’ll see this:
You can also put code in between backtick ( ` ) characters.
In fact, it won’t display at all properly unless you do that.

I thought at the start this was a LaTeX issue, but it seems to be a generic issue with text input on this site. e.g. I am typing the sequence zero backslash backslash zero here: 0

Ma poate ajuta cineva, spunandu-mi cum se implementeaza modulul LaTeX intr-un site in care apar texte matematice?

Yes, this backslash zero suppor thing is killing my blog: how can I post code on wordpress?
I left blogspot.com for I believed wordpress.com had the feature I wanted.
But this is definitely a bug. Which Blogger does not have.
