Latex use in wordpress without plug-ins

I want to write my mathematical eduction on wordpress.com by using Latex style.
The first image is the code I used. I knew that we can use the first statement (in bold) but sometimes I want to use a big one-line equation or multiple lines using begin{align*} stuff. It does show in the second image that is something html image, but shows nothing and when I clicked in the link in the tag, it said “formula does not parse”. Is it possible to do so on WordPress? Thank you.

In the WordPress Editor, you can add LaTex formulas in plain text by pasting it into a Shortcode Block or a Custom HTML block.

Sorry I missed your other question! If your formula reports that it doesn’t parse, then that format won’t work here at WordPress.com unless you upgrade to a Business or eCommerce paid plan where you can install plugins that would add greater formatting functionality.
