  How do I launch my free wordpress site? Every time I go to ‘launch’, it requires that I buy a domain. I just want the free .wordpress.com domain.

  When you click the launch button do you see your free address below the two paid for options? Click “skip purchase” to the right of that and then “continue with free” on the next page.
