Launch Site

  Hi,
  I am trying to launch my blog using the free plan. However, everytime I press launch it says that I need to upgrade and pick a domain name. Is there any way to bypass this and keep the wordpress.com domain name so I can stay on the free plan. There is no skip or keep the wordpress.com domain name option.

  No I haven’t! I just tried again and it still took me to the page where you have to purchase domain names.

  It’s actually a private site I’m using for a class that I don’t care if anyone else can see (a bunch of students will be using the same site), so we’re just going to use the non-launched version as long as that won’t cause problems. I’ll keep trying though if you have suggestions.
