  I created a one page site. When I try to launch it it goes to a page asking me to buy a domain. When I click on Slip Purchase to takes me to a plan price area. I was told I could build and post a page free, but I don’t see how.

  If I wanted to add a blog would I do it by adding a page or is there a blog feature?

  I was able to see what I was doing wrong and post my site but I still would be interested in getting an answer to the blog question.

  Also if I create a button and want it to go to an email address how do I do that. The hyperlink option only lets me link to a website. I typed in “mail: (email visible only to moderators and staff),” but that just made a link to an error page.

  Hi there,

  If I wanted to add a blog would I do it by adding a page or is there a blog feature?

  To create a blog, go to My Site ->Posts and create a new blog post.

  Once you’ve done that you have two options to display that on your site:

  1) Set a posts page. Create a regular page, and title it Blog, Posts, News, or whatever you want it to be called. Then go to Appearance ->Customize ->Homepage settings, and set that page as your posts page.

  2) Use the blog posts block. Create a regular page, or edit an existing page (e.g. your current homepage), and add the blog posts block to the page. Configure the block settings to control how many posts you want it to show, and how much information about your posts, and update the page.

  Many people also do both – you can add a “Latest posts” section to your front page using the block, and then have a separate blog page that lists all your posts in reverse-chronological order.

  You were on the right track :)

  The problem is the space you have after the colon. Remove that, and it should work.
