Launch Web Site

  I’m trying to launch my free web site (https://dianesgallery.wordpress.com/), but the WordPress program won’t let me – the only choices involve payment.

  Hi there,

  Please try launching it by going to My Sites > Manage > Settings > General > Launch Site.

  Thanks, but that’s where I wound up before, and they want money – no option for launching for free. (I’m sorry, I’m trying to do a screen shot, but it won’t paste.) When I click Launch, the next page (“Give your site an address”) wants me to choose a plan to take “WordPress” out of my website URL:
  mysite.wordpress.com to mysite.com for $18

  I don’t see an option to launch for free.

  That next page “give your site an address” make sure you leave that field blank as you already have a site address. Below the two paid for domains will be your free address and a “skip purchase” button to click on.
