  Hi, how can I launch with the free plan? I do have a domain but the host is acting up so I just need to get the site launched as soon as possible with the wordpress.com extension! The site is http://www.juttaruusunen.wordpress.com

  Hi @juttaruusunen,

  At the moment your site is showing “Coming Soon” page which means your site is hiding from visitors until it is ready for viewing.

  To change this you need to update the privacy setting of your website from the following link:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/general/

  Once you are on this page, scroll down a bit to Privacy section. There you will see three radio buttons as follows:

  • Coming Soon
  • Public
  • Private

  You have to choose the “Public” radio button and your site will be live for viewers to see.

  Thanks for your help, makes perfect sense!
  However, I cannot change the setting for some reason, that section is all “gray” and cannot be clicked.

  Hi again, tried another browser, for some reason was able to launch with that!
  So problem solved :)
