  I have transferred my site from Godaddy and ready to launch. I get a message that says I have to do domain mapping!!!

  To use a custom domain that is registered elsewhere, you can either transfer your domain or map the domain to the site hosted on WordPress.com. Both options require an upgraded plan. Each of the paid plans come with a free credit that allows you to either transfer or map your domain.
