  How do I get a free domain?

  Hi,

  when you’re prompted to choose a domain name, type in a free address ending with, for example, .wordpress.com or .home.blog. Skip the purchase of a custom domain and you’ll be able to launch your free site.

  I had exactly the same question and tried your suggestion, but the system does not provide .wordpress.com as a domain.

  I entered ‘furniturewhatImade’ in the site address field, but all options available are not free. I repeatedly clicked on ‘Show more results’ until there were no more results but everything had a price and there was no skip option.

  Any chance you could provide a screen grab?

  I should have said, I’m happy to launch the site with the free domain, mh970722332.wordpress.com.

  But I have the same issue. There are no options that are free and I can’t see a skip option.
