Launching with existing WordPress domain
-
When I try to type the website with the .wordpress.com it won’t let me see the website. I don’t want to pay for the domain, I just need the normal url to work
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

https://theonewiththejourney.wordpress.com/ works just fine, but you have set it to be Private.
You can make it Public following the steps at https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

Hey, I tried doing that but it shows the option to make it public all greyed out. It gives me the launch option above but then I have to pay for the domain.
-
Click the launch option, the custom domains are only optional. There’s a “Skip Purchase” option at the bottom of the list to continue with the free domain you have.
-
It doesn’t give me that option unfortunately. Only “use domain I own”.
I was told maybe its because of the template I used but I used a free template as well so unsure why it isn’t giving me the option

When you click the Launch Site button, you should see this: https://cld.wthms.co/lMgOcW (green rectangle added for clarity)
Would you please use https://snipboard.io/ to share a screenshot of what you’re seeing instead?

I figured it out, it doesn’t work on Safari for some reason but I tried on Firefox and it worked!
Thank you for your help
