  Hi

  How do you move content up on home page? For example when I search my blog I can’t see the content on the screen, how do I change these margins? This blog has managed it and seems to have a lot more stuff on page, eg. search box etc. http://sweetlittledetailsbyjen.com/. How is this achieved?

  Hi there,

  One thing you can do to collapse that space is click Appearance → Customize. Then, in the blue sidebar, click Site Title. Unclick the box for Display Header Text, and save your change.

  Another difference between your two sites is that the height of the header in sweetlittledetailsbyjen.com/ is 250 pixels. Yours is 160 and therefore it’s leaving more negative space below it. Your theme recommends a header size of 955×250 pixels.

  The other site has a title on its post. This, too, takes up space. Because your first post is untitled, you’re left with even more negative space.

  Try those three suggestions and see if the aesthetics of your site are more to your liking.
