  I want to change the layout on my blog home page where the title and first paragraph are listed; that way I can list more stories.

  Hello!

  Are you looking to show only post snippets on your home page, instead of your full blog posts? If your theme supports it, you can use the Excerpts feature to show Excerpts instead of the full post on your home page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/excerpts/

  If the theme does not support Excerpts, you can instead use the More tag in your posts: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/
