  I purchased the Tuned Balloon theme by Anariel Design. It should allow for a left sidebar, center sidebar and right sidebar. I can access all these options if I go to widgets through the WP-admin; otherwise, the only options I have are a footers social widget and right sidebar.

  I’ve made changes through the WP-admin, but these are not appearing on my site. The only changes I’m able to see are those that I do through the live customization.

  Hi there,

  You can make changes from your Customizer and it is not required that you need to do it from WP-admin.

  1. Go to My Site(s) → Customize(Beside the Themes option) or just click here: https://wordpress.com/customize/. This will open the site Customizer.
  2. On the sidebar of the Customizer click on the Widgets
  3. You can now customize widgets in your homepage via Home-Left Sidebar, Home-Right Sidebar, Home-Center Sidebar

  When I go about doing it this way, I only have two options for locations: footers social widget and right sidebar.

  I’ve cleared my browser cache and am using Google Chrome. I am not sure what version number I’m using:/ When I go to the admin panel, in the At-a-Glance section, it only lists what theme I’m using.

  Hi there,

  The Customizer does not show all widget areas at all times. If you are looking at a particular page in the Customizer you will only see the widget areas that are available for that page.

  The “Home” widget areas will only appear if you set your site’s front page to use the theme’s special Home Page template. Currently your front page is using the default page template, so will not show those widget areas.
