In a layout grid with text on one side and an image on the other, how do you get the text to align with the top of the image?

Further: The Layout Grid alignment is already set to “top” but the text and image do not align at the top. There is a line space above the text.

  • Hello,

Firstly I’m really liking your site! I see you just launched your site and if you ask me, you’re off to a great start

Sorry to hear you’re having difficulties aligning your text with the top of your image in the layout grid. You did not mention it but you are referring to this page, yes? https://oldknittylady.com/stuff-for-sale/

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:

    1. Edit the top margin of the block containing the text. You can set the margin to 0 in the block settings on the right sidebar of the WordPress editor.
    2. Make sure the alignment settings are similar for both the text block and the image block.
    3. Check the top padding value of the text block. If it’s set to a positive value, try changing it to 0.
    4. I noticed on that page that in some cases the image at title appears to be aligned at the top, and others do not. Did you set these up differently at all, that may offer a clue.

If those do not work, please let us know so we can take a closer look.

Also I noticed that you are selling lovely crafts on that page. I thought I might point out that you can actually sell items directly on your site, using the tools built in to your Premium Plan. For example you can use our Payments Buttons Block to add a “buy now” button to the listings you have there
