Layout in new Poly premium theme

  I really like the new theme Poly. One question: do the posts in Poly have to display in calendar order the way they do on most themes or can the order be changed? Does it matter if you have a featured image on one or more posts or pages in setting the order?

  Hi there – Posts appear in reverse-chronological order (newest at the top) with all themes.

  However, there is a way to kind of hack them to appear in chronological order (oldest at the top), instead of reverse-chronological. You’d need to add all of your posts to a category. Then, you’d want to set up a Custom Menu, with a Custom Link tab that links to that category archive URL, but with the following at the end of the link:

  ?order=asc

  So the full link would look something like this:

  blog.wordpress.com/category/term/?order=asc

  You can do that with any theme that supports a custom menu (most do).
