layout is too wide for screen; photos don't download

  Several readers/subscribers tell me that for the past few days my blog The Well-Tempered Ear has been too wide for their screen and that photos don’t download, I am not aware of doing anything different. Has WordPress made some kind of change or adjustment that could be causing this? Please advise before I lose readers. This has never happened before. Best, Jake Stockinger.

  When I visit your site, everything appears to be displaying correctly for me. Do you happen to know which Internet browser and operating system these readers are using?

  Hi Evarlese,
  I appreciate your efforts and reassurances.
  But SOMETHING IS definitely WRONG!
  I just got another complaint. (See blow.)
  I have asked readers about software and operating systems (mostly PCs) , and can find no link or commonality to explain the problem.
  So I suspect some kind of default setting has been tampered with, knowingly or unknowingly, at WordPress.
  Please look further into it and test some things or ask others about it.

  If i have the right person and the correct email address, i need to report that…

  …either on your end or my end, something is amiss with the Well-Tempered Ear emails. The last several (five or six?) have appeared on my screen with the heading and then a blank, light blue box. i have to go to the website to read your blog. i haven’t had trouble like this before.

  While i am surely not a musician in anything but the rank amateur/church choir sort, i do enjoy your blog. Thanks!

  The blog itself is fine. The problem they’re referring to are the subscription emails. We’re aware of the problem and working towards a fix.

  The format is too narrow and I can’t read it the right hand side. This only began happening very recently. Can you make suggestions on how to correct this? Claudia Melrose

  Can you please tell us who your email provider is and what application you’re using to read your email?

  All reports from readers are that the problems have been fixed. Many thanks, MacManX and others at WordPress.

  My e-mail provider is msn.com. I use both MSN and Apple Mail to read it.
