Why is the text in my posts going into the sides of the blog? and how do I get a button for the homepage?

Hi there,
I’m not sure I understand what you mean by “text in my posts going into the sides of the blog”. Can you explain what you men in more detail (perhaps providing a link to a page that displays this behavior) or provide a screenshot (which you can upload to your media library if you wish): http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
For a link to the home page, this document should help you out:

See how in this post all of the text hangs off the right side of the page? http://massimosrecipesforlife.com/2013/05/17/starting-strong/

Hi there,
Your blog post itself looks fine, but you have the Meta and Recent Posts widgets in the Footer Area Two widget area, which causes them to display on the far right.
If that’s the issue you’re referring to, you can fix that by moving those widgets to Footer Area One, or to the Header widget area. Alternately, you can either use our Custom Design upgrade to modify how the widget areas display, or you could try a different theme.
If the widgets aren’t what you’re talking about, please send me a screenshot since you may be seeing things differently on your end.

Hi there,
I can see your screenshot in your media library. Thanks for that, it helped a lot!
It looks like your post content area escapes the container when the browser window is reduced. Since you have Custom Design and are already using custom CSS, you can play around with the .entry-content class (and possibly other selectors) to address that issue.
This might resolve the issue:
.entry-content {
width: 70%;
}You might play around with that selector and see if you can get the results you’re looking for. If my code doesn’t quite work for you, I’d recommend posting in the CSS Customization forums (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization ) for further assistance.
