Layout issue in desktop application v. 3.0.0
-
I’ve just installed the newest version of the desktop application to write blog entries off-line. The installation was over the previous version.
The newest version of the application has two issues with the layout of edit screen for blog entries.
#1. The upper section (containing ‘back’, ‘home’, ‘preview’ ,’settings’ and ‘publish’ buttons) covers the upper part of the blog entry.
#2. Settings menu on the right does nto respond to clicks. Is there anything I can do to make it work?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi tataizy –
Well, that doesn’t sound right at all! Could you grab some screen shots for me? Add those to the media library on your site and I can take a closer look.
Which operating system are you using the app on?

Hi,
I’m on Windows 10 x64.
Same issue on version 3.1.0 beta 2.

One more question: You are only seeing this in the app? Or do you also see this in the web browser?
-
Editing in the web browser is perfectly fine. Only the desktop application has this problem.
Has the application got any features not available in the browser? -
There was a bug reported and I think it could be related. It’s since been fixed. Can you let me know if you are still having issues?
-
Disregard that last reply. I had my bugs mixed up!
I will pass this along to our developers and see what suggestions they have. Hang tight.

Good morning –
Stopping by to let you know that I have filed a report of the issue you are experiencing through the app.
Feel free to follow along at https://github.com/Automattic/wp-desktop/issues/368
In the meantime, I’d suggest sticking to the web browser for working on the site.

No problem. I am hoping to have more details to share with you soon.
It looks like I have forgotten to mention that the app does not work in off-line mode at this time. It’s something that we hope to add in the future though.
