  my side bar is showing at the bottom of the page tried all you suggest opened with 2 browsers and it looks the same. How do i resolve?

  Go to Pages > All Pages, click Edit under the title of your About page (the one you’ve set as your front), switch the editor to HTML and delete all of these:
