Layout looks nothing like what users see

Help! I have been working on this all day and I thought it looked good (Other then the fact that I can’t get rid of “posted on” and “reply”).
Then I checked the site on another server as though I were a user and not the owner and it looks horrible! It looks like a child put it together. Yes, it’s my first time doing this.
I am out of patience. Do you think I need to hire someone? I was trying to not spend the money but I guess you get what you pay for.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@barbandchad, I completely understand your frustration, we’ve all been there. I actually think it has some potential, just needs some help.
It looks like you are using the self hosted version of WordPress.org

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the site won’t allow me to post on the link you sent. I can only read posts but i can’t post a new topic. Sigh. I give up. Looks like we will have to hire someone after all. This supposed to be easy but it’s turning out that you need to be a rocket scientist.

Go to the top right hand corner here http://wordpress.org/ and register a WordPress.org username account so you can post there.
