layout of home page

    I’m just getting started, and am finding the options confusing. I have just done my first post, and the only way it shows up is through a link. I’d like to configure the home page to have at least part of the blog showing on the landing (home) page and also have some static content.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    The first thing to understand is the difference between posts and pages:
    Post vs. Page

    Your blog’s front page will show your posts by default. If you want it to show a page instead, you can set that up by following these directions:
    Front Page

    If you want your other pages to have posts that go underneath them depending on topic, you’ll want to set up what’s called “category pages.” We have a full guide for how to do this here:
