layout problem with luscious theme

  I purchased the luscious theme. I display my content archive by showing excerpts plus a thumbnail image. When I do this the image displays partially over the top of the date making it impossible to read. I don’t want to delete the images as they greatly improve the look of my blog. How do I fix this?
