You can copy and paste the code for social networking icons into a draft posts arrange them as you wish, link them to you profile on the appropriate sites. Then you switch to the text (HTML) editor and copy the code into a text widget. Lastly you delete the draft post.

Thanks for you answer on how to paste my icons. Do you know how I can restore my page layout.
Thanks

I don’t see anything unusual about the layout here > http://shiggs55.wordpress.com/
If you are referring to another blog post the URL starting with http://If you are not referring to another blog then you have a browser related issue.
If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache:

2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
If it’s still happening, let us know exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.

Hi
The lay out appears to have dropped down the page. My side bar is showing boxes which I think should be in the header for the addition of new pages. If you scroll down you can see how the side bar should look. There is a faint line breaking up the header section if deff looks as if the layout has slipped.

What is the URL starting with http:// of this blog your refer to please.
Without it we cannot help you. -

Right. I am using Firefox 20 and if there had been a display issue as you describe in that stable browser version I would have experienced it but I did not. That means you have a browser related issue. Please go through the troubleshooting drill above and report step by step back to us.

I have just noticed that the layout is only out of line on the front page with todays post on and all the other posts following on behind it. When you click onto one of the links or categories and open a page up that way those layouts are fine.

I am sorry but as I do not see that using Firefox 20, and as you have yet to undertake the troubleshooting I posted above, and as I do not know exactly which browser and version of it you are using we have reached the end of the line. Chrome 26 on Windows 7
This is my browser.Surely if it was my browser then every page would be wrong and not just the one front page.
I am not technical enough to try your suggestions, I will have to get someone in to do it for me.
Thanks

It also a different colour than the other pages and the icons next to recent post of a piece of paper with the corner turned over should be the same as the others which are an icon folder. It is just on this one page. If you are opening the blogg up on a specific page rather than the home page that carries all of my posts then it doesn’t show up.
thanks

How do you explain the fact I cannot see the anomaly you report using either Firefox 20 or IE8 then?
-
I am convinced this is a browsers related issue.
You are not convinced so have at it > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2012/05/19/sidebar-at-the-bottom-and-related-issues/
