"Lazy load" images on a wordpress.com blog?

  I like to include a lot of images in my posts and am familiar with the image gallery option, but is there any way to “lazy load” images (similar to what the “Lazy Load Plugin” http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/lazy-load/ for self-hosted blogs does) on my wordpress.com blog?

  It’d be great to be able to reduce page load times whenever I post images – especially those humongous GIFs of mine ;) – in lots of different places in a post, e.g., between paragraphs of text.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
