Learning CSS
-
Hi Guys,
I’ve got some basic HTML knowledge and understand the idea behind how CSS works. But, I’d really like to start digging into CSS and learning to code myself. My question is, how do I identify what each item on the website is called. For example, I have a piece of CSS currently that changes the background color of the buttons in my navigation menu to gold when you are hovered over it. The identifying tag is called “.navigation-main”. How would I know in the future what to identify the piece of the website I would like to customize as? -
