Learning how to monetize our blog

  We are trying to learn how to monetize our blog. And we would like to know specifically if the following functionality is available:

  1. Can we set up a “paid area” of the blog. Where part(s) of the blog is free access, but another part is paid via monthly fee?

  2. Can we set tags on specific posts to make them only available if one has a paid account?

  3. In lieu of full access to “paid area” can someone do a one-off payment to access one specific blog if they wish?

  4. Can we protect the paid content from copy and paste? That is, no one can re-blog it (unless it is accessed via payment to us), no one can copy and paste it and email it out, copy to facebook, etc.

  None of these are possible on WordPress.com. To have member-only or paid-only areas on your site you’ll need to set up a WordPress.org website on your own self-hosted domain where you can install the necessary plugins to do this.
