"Leave a comment" box on post page

    I no longer want to allow comments for my Sela Theme blog posts. I went to WordPress and then to the Discussion tab under Settings. I turned off the option for allowing comments. Even though I followed these steps, my site still shows a comment box and still allows me to post a comment. Does anyone know why this is happening?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I am afraid you are on the wrong forums!

    Your website is not hosted on WordPress.com.

    Looks like your website is hosted on Bluehost:
    Name Servers:
    ns1.bluehost.com
    ns2.bluehost.com

    We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.

    To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress.

    WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.

    You could look in WordPress.org forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar:
