Leave a Comment Button Not Showing
-
I have the Scratchpad theme, and I like to write my posts show that the entire text shows on the page, so readers don’t have to click continue to read the rest of it.
I like it, but the only problem is that I’ve noticed there’s no ‘Leave a Comment’ button at the top of the post, unlike on some other themes.
I want that capability so readers will know how to comment on a post if they’re not familiar with WordPress. I have looked up and down on all the Settings, but I can’t find anything. I have asked another community, but they tell me the same thing. I looked it up before, but the answers are out-of-date and won’t work.
Thanks.

Hi there,
With this theme, the comment link is actually located at the bottom of each post page but not on the main blog page itself. This is strictly a design decision for this particular theme as it may be a personal preference for some users. I completely understand what you are saying about reader familiarity though, and I was curious about this myself. I found another thread in the forums where a staff member answers this very question:

If the comment link placement is a high priority for you, I’d recommend searching for other themes where this option is available.
Thanks!
