I cannnot help but please try these:
For the iphone wordpress app, you need to http://iphone.forums.wordpress.org/
http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers. -
At this point I’m very frustrated. I’m ready to launch my blog but I can’t get sufficient help to correct my problem. Can someone please help me?

I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.
-
Timethief,
Did you tag this thread yet? I was just wondering because I haven’t heard any follow-up.
Thanks again,
Derrick

Yes, I tagged it. Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in order of datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.
How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Don’t bump your thread here again because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Don’t create a new thread or send an email for support either.
When bloggers keep bumping any thread thinking they are going to get service from Staff more quickly they aren’t thinking straight because that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response. The same is true if you email more than once the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help.

Could you please let me know what kind of device you’re using, whether you’re using the WordPress app or viewing a site in a mobile browser (and if so, which one), and if you’re using the app, if you are using the most current version of the app?
Could you also let me know the site you are trying to comment on, so I can take a look to make sure it’s not the site itself that’s the issue?

jackiedana,
I’m using my iPhone 5S & using safari to try and leave a comment. It doesn’t allow me to use it. I’m not signed in to the WordPress app. When I’m signed it, it allows me to leave a comment or edit. I have no problem leaving a comment on my iMac or iPad. If I’m a reader, I want people to be able to leave a comment via their phone whether its an iPhone or Android device.

Thank you

I tested the comment system on my iPhone using Safari. I tried one using my WordPress.com account and another using an email address not associated with WordPress.com in any way, and both were posted to your blog (I have unapproved them, and they are now in your comments area to review). So I’m not quite sure why you are unable to comment, but the system does appear to be working.
When you try to leave a comment on your blog when you’re not logged in, are you using the same email address that is associated with your WordPress.com account?
-
I found the challenge, when I click on View Full Site, it’s not allowing me to use the Leave A Comment function. Can this be activated for use? The full site view shows the glass of tea in the background & it’s a major part of the blog according to my scripture.
-
I was able to post a comment on your blog from the full site view as well.
Again, when you try to leave a comment on your blog when you’re not logged in, are you using the same email address that is associated with your WordPress.com account? That’s the only thing I could think of that could be throwing things off.
-
I’m not using any email address, I’m going to safari as if I’m someone reading/following the blog. I just go to the internet from my iPhone
-
-
When I go to View Full Site, the Leave A Comment function is orange & I can’t use it on the iPhone. Is it something I’m doing wrong?
-
The button should be orange, so that’s not an issue.
I’m really not sure what could be causing this issue, assuming your iOS and Safari are up to date. The comment feature is definitely working as expected, as I have been able to leave comments on the site using the full site view.
Do you have any issues leaving comments on the mobile version of the site, or is it just when you click to view full site? Have you tried leaving a comment using the mobile app or in a different iOS browser, like Chrome? I’m asking just to try to narrow things down.
-
It’s only on the full view site. I haven’t tried chrome but I can leave a comment via the mobile app.
-
Both myself and a colleague have been unable to reproduce this, so I’m not sure I can explain why you are unable to leave a comment, but it should not affect your site’s visitors. When you wish to reply to comments, you may wish to use the mobile view of the site, in a different browser such as Chrome for iOS, or in the WordPress app.
-
I open the link in Chrome in full view mode & I couldn’t use the Leave a comment function
