  I am trying to remove the “leave a reply” box from my word press pages. I have unchecked all of the boxes under the discussion tab in the settings window and am still unsuccessful in doing so. The first time I contacted support about this topic, they sent me a link to do this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/#enabledisable-comments It is exactly what I attempted on my own but with no success. Can you please tell me how to remove this option from my pages?

  Hi there – You need to edit each of your individual posts and pages that were already published before you changed the option in Settings->Discussion.

  So for example, please edit this page:
  https://jerusalemmill.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=48&action=edit

  On that screen, scroll down below the post editor and find the Discussion module:
  http://cl.ly/image/022L1S1z3o0m

  Uncheck both of those boxes, and then Update the page. Do this for each of your posts/pages that still shows the reply field.
