"Leave a Reply" is broken

Hi everyone!
So, I am having a problem on company’s blog. The “Leave a Reply” is breaking on my homepage. If you look at it there seems to be a some major styling bugs. Something I should say is that I am posting each blog post as a page instead of a post because I want total URL control. Do you think I should contact the stylist or is this something that the WordPress.com community/admins can help out with? Haven’t found an resources on how to fix this. Any help is appreciated.

Hi there!
This is happening because you’ve set your front page to display both a static page and your recent posts. When you visit Settings > Reading, you’ll see an error about this:

In order for your pages to render properly, these need to be set to different pages.
Pages aren’t really meant to be used for post content. As such, they don’t have a Reblog button, and they don’t Publicize to your social media networks. I understand the desire for full URL control, however, Posts and Pages are designed differently, for different types of content.

Thanks so much for replying back. Your feedback was really helpful. I’m starting to think that I should just use posts instead of pages even if I don’t have full URL control. It’s easier to navigate for users and there are less complications overall.

Hey everyone. This is actually kind of urgent. I am actually having another problem with my WordPress account. I upgraded my account to WordPress Premium twice already, and after a few days I keep getting downgraded. I don’t understand. I’d really love it someone could help because I don’t want to buy the upgrade a third time. I am not getting billed, but I did pay.

It looks like you were subscribed to the WordPress.com Premium trial instead of actually purchasing the upgrade. I see that you’ve purchased the Premium plan now, but it was for the site kevintestspringboard.wordpress.com. So I’ll make sure that’s actually on your blog.springboardretail.com site now.
I responded to a thread of yours about this before as well. I only see one payment for the Premium plan on this account. Is there another account that may have made one of the previous payments?
As for the posts versus pages, it will probably be more straightforward for you to manage and your viewers to navigate and read if you use posts instead.

Thanks so much for you persistent help. It’s actually be great! I was actually wondering if there is anyway, using the Ryu theme, to redirect bloggers to my companies main website. The blog has one redirect which is the topic “Sell More” icon. Is there anyway to include a link to another website? As usual, appreciate the help!

Sure! You can add links below “Sell More” by adding it to your Custom Menu at Appearance > Menus. Select the Link dropdown on the left.
You could also add a link to one of your widget areas. And you can fill in any social media sites through the Theme Options menu in the Customizer.
Does one of those options work for you?
