Leaving a comment

  I have written a comment on a blog page and it says my comment is under moderation. What does that mean? I am not sure they ever get to see my comment.

  It means the owner of the site has set things up so that they have the opportunity to review all comments received first and then they can decide if they wish to publish those comments on their site or not. How quickly that decision is made one way or the other depends on how regularly the site owner moderates their own site.

  Yes, the owner of the site can see it. Comment moderation is a feature that often protects sites from spam. It’s likely that they have all comments set to be manually approved and the comment is awaiting approval before it can be seen by others.
