Leaving Comments

  I am being told by readers to both of my sites that they cannot easily leave a comment. They are being asked for a password when they try leaving comments after their first time (first time seems to be easy, then it becomes a problem). I have relooked at my settings, and can’t see why / how this is happening. Please advise what I need to do to make it easier for people to engage!

  Are they leaving a comment on a site and trying to use URL and email? If so, and that email is associated with a WordPress.com account, they will be asked to log in. I would try going to WordPress.com, logging in, and then going back to the site and leaving a comment.

  They do leave their e-mail as requested by the form but nobody of my contacts has a wordpress account. Nonetheless they’ve been asked to log in..this is the problem. Thanks for your help. Daniela

  Oddly enough, I didn’t do anything for the other user. They simply reported that things were working again.

  Can you explain in more detail the issue you are experiencing? Specifics are useful.
