Leaving comments

My routine goes like this: Get coffee, sit at computer reading blogs while enjoying coffee. Comment on blogs while still enjoying coffee.
Pretty simple, until this morning. I get my coffee, I read my first blog, I click on the comments icon and I am taken to the bottom of the page, but there is not comment space, no send button, no anything. Okay, try another blog; same thing. Fine, go to the Community pool, and dag-nabbit! I still can’t leave a comment!
What’s the dealio?! I could leave comments the last time I was reading blogs. How can I enjoy my coffee now that I have all these comments clogging up my cranium?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Having the same issue… I put up a new post asking the same question. I usually get a few comments on my blogs and was thinking this could be related?

I am also unable to make comments from my Reader thread. The comments section on another’s blog won’t open. I have to go all the way into the bloggers blog in order to make comments. My cache is cleared, no ad-blocker is on and I’ve not made any changes to my personal settings.
Two days ago this started. If someone could help me resolve this issue it would be great.

Hi, I’ve tagged this thread for Staff attention.
Meantime, are you trying to leave a comment from within the Reader or directly on someone’s site?
Do you receive an error message? If so, what is it?

I receive no error message.
I’m logged into WordPress when I go into my Reader. When I open my reader, I can “like” a bloggers post, when I click onto the “comment symbol” it takes me to post, but doesn’t open up comments allowing me to comment. If I click onto comment symbol again, same thing happens and no place does comments section open for me to see others comments or for me to leave a comment.

And there’s no help like the usual solutions cache or cookie- clearing. On the very fresh installed VIVALDI Browser it’s like written above:
“no place does comments section open for me to see others comments or for me to leave a comment.”

12 hours later and still the issue is unresolved with no one responding from Staff.
Could someone update us on the resolution for the issue.

I’ve been having the same problem for the past few days. I can’t leave a comment when I’m reading the post from the Reader. I have to go to the writer’s blog directly in order to leave a comment.

Howdy all,
Thanks for reporting this issue. It appears a small change in the Reader on Friday caused comments to only show for logged-in admins of a site, but it was fixed a little while ago and you should be able to see and leave comments via the Reader again.
You might need to clear your browser cache before it will work for you.
