Leaving comments on Blogger blogs

When I leave comments on other blogs (such as Blogger) I have an option to log in as a WordPress blogger but the link to my site is then automatically given as mrspoonseeker.wordpress.com This link won’t work as I am using my own domain name instead. Naturally when I leave a comment I want to take the opportunity to increase my readership by linking back to my own blog but there doesn’t seem to be any way of leaving a comment with the correct link. Can you offer any ideas?

The blogspot.com software is not recognizing your WordPress.COM identity. This is a very common issue.

The bottom line is that the blogspot software expects your blog to be the same as your username. When that isn’t the case the software will not allow you to link to any other URL in a comment. So the bloggers have to change their settings for comments for you to be able to comment as secretsimon and link that username to http://spoonseeker.com/
