leaving Mr site

    Hi – I have had a website – http://www.musicatstgiles.com with Mr Site for many years. I’ve built a brand new site at wordpress and now want to transfer the existing domain. I have an EPP Key to do that but am now terribly stuck! Please help! Thanks so much

    Hi there,

    You can absolutely use your domain name musicatstgiles.com with your WordPress.com site, but we don’t accept incoming domain transfers, so instead of transferring it to us, you’ll leave it where it is and just point the domain’s name servers to your WordPress.com site. Here are the general instructions for that:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

    The specific instructions on how to change the name servers at your registrar (eNom) are available at the link below:
    http://www.enom.com/help/faq_dns.asp

    I can’t actually update your name servers for you as I don’t have access to your eNom account, but if you contact their support people they should be able to help you.
