Leaving WordPress, a final word of Thanks

After today I finally realized fully how the experience of using WordPress as a personal blogging site has been turning into more of a frustration rather than the joy it originally was.

I’m not sure if anyone is going to read this, if anyone even wants to read this, but I thought I’d share my thoughts anyway. After all, WordPress was there for me when I started out blogging, and despite the technical issues nonsense that has driven me to this decision, it’s been quite the journey. So please note that this post isn’t to report about another one of those issues that WP staff cannot help with in any case, and it is not even to express my frustration with using some of the most basic features of the site like the word editor, since all of that problems cease to exist the moment I decide to take the easy way out, something I probably should have done much, much sooner.

It was fun while it lasted, and I don’t know who I should be saying thanks to, but thank you, anyway. My journey with WordPress might have ended here, but the blogging continues. And for contributing to setting that in motion, you have my gratitude.

So long, and thanks for the fish.
