Left and Right Margins Not Visible in Post Editor

    I noticed this problem first last month, when I did this post:

    The Gospel of John, Chapter 8 (DDV)

    The left margin is cut off, and most of the right margin. The cursor is now at the left edge of the window rather than in the margin. While I was able to finish the editing and publish, and it didn’t affect the final output, it is annoying. And it makes it a little difficult to edit my post text.

    I didn’t find this exact problem already discussed here. Hope there is a quick fix, as I hope to post again soon.

    First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

    If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

    If it is, please do these two things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

    2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

    Looks like the problem is with Safari for Mac, which I use at home as my default browser (I also have Firefox and Chrome at home). The Safari version I have is 13.1.3, while the latest is 15. However, our Mac is from 2013 and we’ve already updated the OS as much as possible (to OS X 10.15.7). So, I can’t update Safari to the latest version without buying a different Mac.

    I guess that’s why I get the “this browser is unsupported” message.

    I just updated Firefox and Chrome to the latest versions. Checking the blog editor, the problem is not showing up there, everything is fine. So, I’ll just use one of them instead of Safari when editing a post. No problem.
