Left Justified Image placement in posts

I am now having a problem placing images on my blog. Yes I have searched but not found a solution. This is hard to explain but here goes. I want the result to be this:

    PICPICPIC TEXTTEXTTEXTTEXTTEXT
    PICPICPIC TEXTTEXTTEXTTEXTTEXT
    PICPICPIC TEXTTEXTTEXTTEXTTEXT

    But instead I get this:

    PICPICPIC
    PICPICPIC TEXTTEXTTEXTTEXTTEXT
    PICPICPIC TEXTTEXTTEXTTEXTTEXT
    TEXTTEXTTEXTTEXTTEXT

No matter what i try, I cannot get the text as high as the picture. In fact I really don’t know how to get my text to the right of a left justified pic. I have been saving it as center justified and then moving it to left justification and saving that — Then the text moves up a bit but not enough. I then go to clean up the code but that doesn’t help. If I try to delete the old code for center justification then the image goes away and I have to reload it.

Please explain to me the proper way to do this? I have tried it on my own for months now and I give up!

    Thanks in advance.

Have you posted it yet so I can take a look? Sometimes it is theme dependent. I’ve seen some themes where the image will hang a little higher than the first line of text.

You can go into code view and in the “img src” add some “vspace” such as:

    <img src="imagelinkhere" alt="" vspace=10 /> or change the 10 to whatever works.

Actually, use quote marks around the 10 or whatever such as this

    `<img src=”imagelinkhere” alt=”” vspace=”10″ />

Sorry, now I’m actually seeing it with and without the quotes.

One thing to note is that some themes do not honor the vspace settings put in with an image and will override them with settings in the theme files.

I will check the code as you suggest and get back to you on that and the name of my themes. This problem happens on both themes that I am currently using.

    Happy New Year!
