Left menu panel
-
Hi,
When i scroll down, the left menu is coming down together. How can I stick it, so it does not come down, and just stay on the top?
Thank you,
Best,
Shamil

I looked at http://aubgsg.org/ and the left menu with heading “AUBG Student Government” stays in place when I scroll. Is that the URL and the left menu you are referring to? Can you please try clearing your browser cache and let me know if that fixes the problem for you?

Hi again,
I checked it. Clear the whole history with cache and cookies, still the same problem. Check with IE, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox :(
Any other suggestions?
Note: Yes, i refer to that menu.

This is actually a feature of the theme. It’s supposed to follow you while you scroll. There is no way to change that in this case.

BTW we are 2 administrators. Before meeting another one, and asking her, just short question. Should we pay for the theme or it is for free?
Thank you in advance!

I think it’s just vocabulary confusion. She mentions that it, “stays in place when I scroll,” which to me means that it follows you as you scroll, which is what it’s supposed to do.
The theme that you’re using is one of our many free themes. There’s no need to pay.

Aaargh ok, thank you very much for help!
Another question.
Another administrator wants to add me as an administrator, but she could not, because it says that the person does not have a blog in wordpress, and on my e-mail it suggests me first to open a blog. However I have a blog in wordpress, at the web-site: hattrickunited.org that works with WP login. But it does not accept, so does it mean that that WP login is not joined the real WP database system?

Sorry about that, yes, I think I misunderstood you before! The left menu is supposed to be fixed in place in the Oulipo theme.
I checked hattrickunited.org and I found that site is setup using WordPress software, but it is not hosted here at WordPress.com. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ to learn about the differences. The logins are completely separate. If someone would like to add you to a WordPress.com blog as an administrator, you should give them a WordPress.com account email address to add to the form on the Users page. To add you to a WordPress.org blog as an administrator, they would need to create an account for you on that system which is separate from WordPress.com.
