Let it Snow?
-
Not sure if this is something that can be done on WordPress.com yet, hence the reason I am here, but with the festive period looming, I’ve had a few thoughts of how I can put a festive stamp on my blog.
I know there is a plugin for .org that allows snow to fall from the top of the window (at least, I am lead to believe there is such a thing available), but the question is, is there a way us .com users can let it snow yet?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The snow effect is a seasonal feature that can be turned on in Dashboard > Settings > General every Christmas season on WordPress.com blogs.
When the time is right over a month from now you will be able to go to your dashboard.
Navigate to Settings → General.
Check the box next to “Show falling snow on this blog.” -
Wow! I am so glad I put this up for discussion or I’d probably never have found it. Never even knew it existed :) thank you timethief.

I grew up in places where it was more than 40 below for longer than 40 days in a row. My blogs are not focused on promoting any snow related activities. I’m a minimalist blogger and most of all I want my sites to load instantly for visitors no matter which operating systems and browsers they use.

Looks great on sites that have a colorful background, but if your site is mostly white, it’s nearly invisible.
